1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marks, packaging, transportation, storage, and quality of titanium tubes for the aerospace propulsion system.

3 Technical requirements
3.1 Materials
3.1.1 Ingots used for the production of pipes shall be smelted at least twice. The first melting can be carried out by vacuum consumable arc furnace or cold-bed furnace.
Subsequent smelting should use vacuum consumable arc furnace smelting, and no element should be added in the last smelting.
3.1.2 Consumable electrodes shall not be welded by tungsten argon arc welding.
3.2 Grades, conditions, specifications
The grade, condition and specification of the pipe shall comply with the requirements in Table 1.
