This document applies to master alloy electrode for titanium and titanium alloy casting (hereinafter referred to as master alloy electrode). 2 Normative references The contents of the following documents constitute the indispensable clauses of this document through normative references in the text. For dated references, only the version corresponding to that date is applicable to this document; for undated references, the latest version (including all amendments) is applicable to this document. GB/T 2524, Titanium sponge GB/T 4698, Methods for chemical analysis of titanium sponge, titanium and titanium alloys GB/T 15073, Casting titanium and titanium alloys YS/T 1262, Method for chemical analysis of titanium sponge, titanium and titanium alloys - Determination of multielement content - Inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry 3 Terms and definitions No terms and definitions need to be defined in this document. 4 Technical requirements 4.1 Raw materials and preparation methods 4.4.2 The two end faces of the master alloy electrode are allowed to retain the center hole that is drilled during processing. 5 Test method 5.1 The chemical composition analysis is carried out according to GB/T 4698 or YS/T 1262; the chemical composition arbitration analysis is carried out according to GB/T 4698. 5.2 Size and shape inspection shall be carried out with measuring tools of corresponding precision. 5.3 Appearance quality inspection shall be carried out with visual inspection and measuring tools of corresponding precision. 6 Inspection rules 6.1 Inspection and acceptance 6.1.1 The product shall be inspected by the supplier or a third party, to ensure that the product quality meets the requirements of this document and the requirements of the purchase order. 6.1.2 The buyer can inspect the received products in accordance with the provisions of this document. If the inspection result does not conform to the provisions of this document or the purchase order, it shall be submitted to the supplier in written form, and the supplier and the buyer shall negotiate and resolve. Objections of dimensions and appearance quality shall be filed within one month from the date of receipt of the product; objections of other performances shall be filed within three months from the date of receipt of the product. If arbitration is required, it shall be determined by both the supplier and the buyer in the buyer’s joint sampling or negotiation. 6.2 Batch Master alloy electrodes shall be submitted for acceptance in batches; each batch shall be composed of master alloy electrodes of the same designation, specification, preparation method, state and continuous production not exceeding 20 smelting furnaces. 6.3 Inspection items and sampling rules The inspection items, sampling position and quantity of the master alloy electrode shall meet the requirements of Table 2. 7.2 Packaging, transportation, storage 7.2.1 The master alloy electrodes shall be packed in a wooden box or wooden bracket, and fixed firmly; loading, unloading, and transportation shall be handled gently. 7.2.2 Master alloy electrodes shall be stored in a dry indoor environment, and shall not be mixed with acid or alkaline media. 7.3 Accompanying documents Each batch of products shall be accompanied by accompanying documents, which shall include supplier information, product information, standard number of this document, date of manufacture or packaging date, and should also include: a) Product quality guarantee: ● Main performance and technical parameters of the product; ● Product features (including the features of manufacturing process and raw materials); ● Responsibility for product quality; ● Quality certification obtained by the product and various analysis and inspection results checked and printed by the technical supervision department of the supplier. b) Product certification; ● Inspection items and their results or inspection conclusions; ● Batch or batch number; ● Inspection date; ● Inspector's signature or seal. c) Inspection report and finished product inspection report during product quality control. d) Product instructions: correct handling, use, and storage methods. e) Others. ......
