This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

This document replaces GB/T 38082-2019 "Biodegradable Plastic Shopping Bags". Compared with GB/T 38082-2019, the main differences are in the structural design.
Aside from editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The labeling requirements have been changed (see 5.1,.2019 version 5.1);
b) The biodegradability performance requirements have been changed (see 5.5,.2019 version 5.5);
c) The test methods for measuring width and length deviations have been changed (see 6.4.1,.2019 version of 6.4.1);
