This standard compared with GB/T 3784-1983 The main changes are as follows.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the radar commonly used terms and their definitions.
This standard applies to the radar field of professional scientific research and teaching, the development of relevant standards, prepared in accordance with the relevant technical documents.
2 radar system
2.1 Radar Category
2.1.1 Radar

Using electromagnetic waves to obtain information and find the target means the target location.
Note. The term "radar (radar)" is "Radio Detection and Ranging (RadioDetectionandRanging)" acronym.
2.1.2 Functional Classification

Mainly used to detect radar warning about space goals.
