1 Scope
This standard specifies gas chromatography-mass spectrometry for the determination of 3,3'-dichloro-4,4'-diaminodiphenylmethane in polymer materials.
This standard applies to the determination of 3,3'-dichloro-4,4'-diaminodiphenylmethane in polyurethane materials. 3,3'- in other polymer materials
Dichloro-4,4'-diaminodiphenylmethane can also be determined by reference to this standard after verification.
2 Method summary
Ultrasonic extraction is carried out using dichloromethane as the extraction solvent. After filtration, it is the liquid to be tested. Take appropriate amount of the liquid to be tested by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.
Analyze with the instrument and quantify by external standard method.
3 reagents and materials
3.1 Dichloromethane. Analytical grade.
3.2 Methanol. Chromatographically pure.
3.3 3,3'-Dichloro-4,4'-diaminodiphenylmethane (MOCA) reference material. CAS No. 101-14-4, purity ≥ 91.8%.
3.4 MOCA standard stock solution. accurately weigh MOCA standard substance (3.3) 50mg (accurate to 0.1mg) in a 100mL volumetric flask,
Dissolve with methanol (3.2) and dilute to the mark, shake well to obtain a standard stock solution of 500 μg/mL MOCA.
3.5 MOCA series standard working solution. accurately measure the appropriate volume of MOCA standard stock solution (3.4) in 10mL volumetric flask
Diluted with methanol (3.2) and brought to volume to obtain concentrations of 1 μg/mL, 2 μg/mL, 5 μg/mL, 10 μg/mL, 20 μg/mL, and
50 μg/mL of MOCA series standard working solution.

4.2 Electronic analytical balance, accurate to 0.1mg.
4.3 Extraction bottle. 50mL screw glass bottle (with lid) or equivalent.

4.5 Needle filter. organic phase, 0.22 μm.
