Typhoon vortex wind measurement data discrimination specification1 ScopeThis standard specifies the zoning index of the typhoon vortex in the atmospheric boundary layer, the representative identification basis of the wind data segment, and the typhoon eye area.
Discrimination basis for wind speed samples in the eye wall area and peripheral area.
This standard is applicable to engineering construction, meteorological services, etc. in engineering, meteorology and other related fields.2 Terms and definitionsThe following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Typhoon vortex typhooncyclone
Tropical cyclones with a wind speed at the bottom of the center greater than 17.2 m/s (8).
Note. Typhoon is a category of tropical cyclones defined by the World Meteorological Organization, namely in the Pacific Northwest (north of the equator, west of the international date line, 100 degrees east longitude)
