1 Scope
This standard specifies the Chinese domain name and English domain name naming conventions for government and public welfare organizations.
This standard applies to party and government agencies and other government agencies and institutions, social organizations and other public welfare organizations to name their Chinese and English domain names.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 25069-2010 apply to this document.
3.1
Domain name domainname
Identifying and locating the hierarchical character of the computer on the Internet, as opposed to the Internet Protocol (IP) address of the computer
Should generally consist of English letters (A~Z, a~z, uppercase and lowercase equivalent), numbers (0~9), and hyphens (-), but cannot begin with a hyphen (-) or
end.
Note. The domain name containing Chinese characters is a Chinese domain name.
3.2
Domain code punycode
A code conversion rule used primarily for internationalized domain names (namely, domains represented by characters other than Latin letters, numbers, or hyphens)
Convert to an encoding that can be recognized by the DNS system.
4 basic rules
The domain name should comply with the following basic rules.
a) The Chinese domain name of the government agency ends with “.government” or “.government”, and the English domain name should end with “.gov.cn”;
b) The Chinese domain name of the charity institution ends with “.public interest”, and the English domain name should end with “.cn”.
5 Chinese domain name naming rules
5.1 Domain Name Consistency Rules
Chinese domain name consistency should meet the following rules.
a) When registering a Chinese domain name using the organization name and specification abbreviation, it should be consistent with the approved name. See Appendix A for application examples;
b) When registering a Chinese domain name with a customary title or other name, it should generally include the name of the administrative division, the name of the industry, and the organization
