1 Scope
This standard specifies the coding structure and coding rules of China's international trade commercial invoice identifiers.
This standard applies to China's import and export enterprises to prepare international trade commercial invoice identifiers.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Commercial invoice commercialinvoice
A document for payment requirements for the goods supplied, in accordance with the terms agreed by the buyer and the seller.

A character or set of characters used to identify or name a data item and possibly indicate the deterministic nature of the data item.

4 coding structure and rules
According to the provisions of GB/T 15191 for commercial invoices, the international trade commercial invoice identifier is up to 35 digits in length (that is, the total length is not

The international trade commercial invoice identifier consists of the following four parts.
a) Part 1. The first 4 digits of the identifier are the year code of the contract or order, represented by a 4-digit code;
b) Part 2. The 5th and 6th digits of the identifier are the trading country code for the contract or order, using GB/T 2659-

c) Part 3. The 7th and 8th digits of the identifier are the administrative regions of the region where the domestic import and export enterprise is contracted or placed.

d) Part 4. The 9th to 35th digits of the identifier are custom codes for import and export companies, and are represented by up to 27 alphanumeric characters.
