1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements for the operation and maintenance of fire protection facilities in hydropower plants.
This standard applies to large and medium-sized hydropower plants (including pumped storage power plants).

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 5907.1, GB/T 5907.2, GB/T 5907.3 apply to this document.

Hydroelectric power plant fire facilities firefacilitiesforhydropowerplant
Fire protection systems and equipment for fire prevention, fire alarm, fire fighting and safe evacuation of hydropower plants (buildings) and production equipment.
Note. including fire water supply system, automatic fire alarm system, automatic fire extinguishing system, fire hydrant system, smoke control system, fire separation system, emergency
Broadcasting, emergency lighting and evacuation instructions, safe evacuation facilities, mobile fire equipment, etc.
4 Basic regulations
4.1 Hydroelectric power plants shall establish a fire safety responsibility system, formulate fire safety management systems, fire safety operation procedures, and fire extinguishing and response.
Urgent evacuation plans and regular targeted fire drills.
4.2 The hydropower plant shall clarify the fire safety responsibility of the post and determine the fire safety responsible persons at all levels and positions.
4.3 Hydropower plants should regularly organize fire safety inspections to eliminate fire safety defects and hidden dangers in a timely manner.
4.4 The evacuation passages, safety exits and fire truck passages of hydropower plants shall be unblocked.
4.5 The fire prevention and smoke prevention division and fire separation distance of hydropower plants shall comply with the requirements of GB 50016, GB 50872 and GB 50987.
