1 Scope
This standard gives guidelines for the insulation coordination of flexible DC converter stations without standard insulation levels.
This standard applies only to the flexible DC converter station part of the power system.
This standard does not apply to industrial converter equipment and conventional DC transmission engineering converter stations.
The given principles and rules apply only to the purpose of insulation coordination and do not involve personal safety requirements.
