Foreword
This revised standard adopts ISO 8. 1977 "document formatting Journal", and ISO 8. main differences compared to 1977 are as follows.
--- Titles Added Titles filling Pinyin provisions;
--- The ISO 8. 1977, Chapter 8, "choreography" and Chapter 10, "paginated" merged into Chapter 8, "Layout and Page Numbering";
--- The ISO 8. 1977 in Chapter 9, "eyebrow title" and Chapter 11, "article formatting" merged into Chapter 9, "with articles";
--- According to China's actual supplement the relevant provisions of the copyright sign;
--- The ISO 8. 1977 in Chapter 6, "Volume" and Chapter 13, "Index" merged into Chapter 11, "general contents and index";
--- To supplement the serial number has been amended accordingly in accordance with our conditions.
This standard replaces GB/T 3179-1992, compared with the GB/T 3179-1992 The main changes are as follows.
--- Standard name from the "scientific and technical journals formatting" to "Typesetting Journals";
--- In order to facilitate understanding of the standards and the promotion of international exchanges, increasing the "Terms and Definitions";
