Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 2946-2008 "ammonium chloride", and the main technical changes compared with GB/T 2946-2008 are as follows.
--- Increased the limit requirements for arsenic, cadmium, lead, chromium, mercury and their compounds for agricultural ammonium chloride (see Table 2);
--- Adjusted the nitrogen content of agricultural ammonium chloride, moisture, granularity of granular products and sodium salt requirements (see Table 2);
--- Increase the average crushing force requirements of granular ammonium chloride for agricultural use (see Table 2);
--- The maximum batch size of the product is adjusted from 500t to 1000t (see 6.2);
--- Added tons of bag packaging specifications (see 8.2).
This standard was proposed by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation.
This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Fertilizer and Soil Conditioning Standardization Technical Committee Nitrogen Fertilizer Subcommittee (SAC/TC105/SC2).

This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and transportation of industrial ammonium chloride and ammonium chloride for agriculture.
