Aside from the logical changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The scope of application has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2012 edition);
b) The grading system was changed, and the "Third-Class Product" designation was removed (see 4.2.2, 3.3 in the.2012 version);
c) The assessment requirements for the quality deviation rate have been changed (see 4.3.1, 3.5 in the.2012 version);
d) The assessment criteria for dimensional change rates during washing and dry cleaning have been revised (see 4.3.1, 3.5 in the.2012 version);
e) The assessment requirements for wet rubbing resistance and light fastness have been revised (see 4.3.1, 3.5 in the.2012 edition);
f) Added "dry cleaning fastness" and "heat pressing fastness" (see 4.3.1);
g) Added "water repellency" and "oil repellency" assessment items (see 4.3.1);
h) A scoring specification for "dyeing and finishing defects" has been added (see 4.4.2);
i) Added grading regulations for continuous defects such as those found in willow branches and other types of defects (see 4.4.3.5);
j) The formula for calculating the grade of appearance defects has been changed (see 4.4.4, 3.6.3 in the.2012 version);
k) Added test methods for internal and external quality assessment items (see Chapter 5);
