This standard replaces GB/T 27610-2011 "Classification and Code of Waste Products". Compared with GB/T 27610-2011, the main technical changes

1 Scope
This standard specifies the classification principles, coding rules, classification and codes of waste resources.
This standard applies to waste resources generated within the territory of the People's Republic of China.
This standard does not apply to hazardous waste, unsorted domestic waste, construction waste, and waste resources other than those specified in GB/T 39198.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions defined in GB/T 20861 apply to this document.
3.1
Discarded products
Products that the owner of the product no longer uses and has discarded or abandoned, as well as inconsistencies arising from production, transportation, sales, and use.
Qualified products, obsolete products and expired products, etc.
3.2
Discarded resources
Lost the original use function, still renewable resources.
Note. Including waste products and waste raw materials generated in the production process.
4 Classification principles
4.1 Classification should be included in the important and large-scale waste resources in various industries of the national economy.
4.2 Conducive to the classified collection of waste resources and maximum recycling.
4.3 The detailed catalog of classification refers to the catalog of national economic industry classification.
4.4 The category subdivision codes can be formulated by various industries.
