1 Scope
This document specifies the composition and requirements of the operation team for high-pressure water jet cleaning operations, pre-operation preparation, operating procedures and equipment maintenance.
This document is applicable to high-pressure water jet cleaning operations with a pressure of not less than 10 MPa, and water jet mobile cutting and crushing operations.

3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 41513 and the following apply to this document.
3.1
High pressure pump
The working pressure is between 10 MPa and 100 MPa. It is a pressure source device used to increase the water pressure and deliver the high-pressure water to the nozzle.
Note. High pressure pumps are often of positive displacement piston type to ensure a constant flow rate at a given pump speed.

spray gun
A handheld cleaning tool that controls high-pressure water through a nozzle to form a water jet.
Note 1.It consists of a control valve, a spray bar and a nozzle assembly (including one or more nozzles), and the spray gun locking mechanism is shown in Figure 1.
Note 2.The spray gun is usually connected to the pressure regulating valve at the discharge end of the high-pressure pump through a high-pressure hose assembly.
