Nickel and nickel alloys - Terms and definitions
Part 3. processed products and castings
1 Scope
This section GB/T 25951 specifies the terms and definitions of nickel and nickel alloy castings and machining products.
This section applies to nickel and nickel alloy castings and machining products.
2 Terms and definitions
2.1
Processed products wroughtproducts
By heat and (or) method of cold plastic deformation (such as extrusion, forging, hot-rolled, cold-rolled or drawn, alone or in combination with the use of) the product obtained.
Processed products are bar, wire, tubing, profiles, sheet, strip, foil, forgings.
Note. The definition of processed products described in Appendix A.
2.1.1
Rod rod/bar
Uniform cross-section along the entire length of the solid processed products, with the straight delivery.
Circular cross-section, oval, square, rectangular, equilateral triangles or regular polygon (see FIG. 1). Square, rectangular, triangular or
Polygonal cross-section of the product, along its entire length may have roundings.
Note. For rectangular bars.
--- Thickness exceeding one tenth of the width;
--- The term "rectangular bar" includes "oblate stick" (flattenedcircles) and "near-rectangular bar" (modifiedrectangles), whose two opposite edges of a convex arc, and the other two pairs
Long straight and parallel sides are equilateral.
2.1.2
Wire wire
Cross-section along its entire length a uniform solid processed products to roll delivery.
Circular cross-section, oval, square, rectangular, equilateral triangles or regular polygon (see FIG. 1). Square, rectangular, triangular or
Polygonal cross-section of the product, along its entire length may have roundings.
Note. For rectangular wire.
--- Thickness exceeding one tenth of the width;
--- The term "rectangular line" includes "oblate line" (flattenedcircles) and "near-line rectangle" (modifiedrectangles), whose two opposite edges of a convex arc, and the other two pairs
Long straight and parallel sides are equilateral.
2.1.3
Pipe tube
Along its entire length a uniform cross-section with only one enclosed cavity, and wall thickness hollow processed products, with straight or rolls
Availability.
Circular cross-section, oval, square, rectangular, equilateral triangles or regular polygon (see FIG. 2), along the entire length of the circle can be inverted
Angle square, rectangular, equilateral triangles or regular polygonal cross-section of the hollow product, if the same cross-sectional view of the inner and outer concentric polygons,
And have the same shape and orientation, can be considered a pipe.
Note 1. The pipe can also be perforated or sheet, strip after forming, welding and forming.
Note 2. the general shape of the pipe as defined above, by bending, cutting threads, boring, reducing, expanding and tapered hollow pipe products classified as a class.
