This document is Part 21 of GB/T 2423.The published parts of GB/T 2423 are listed in Appendix NA.
This document replaces GB/T 2423.21-2008 "Environmental testing for electric and electronic products - Part 2.Test methods - Test M. Low atmospheric pressure"
Compared with GB/T 2423.21-2008, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
--- Changed the preferred value of air pressure (see Table 1, Table 1 of the.2008 edition);
--- Changed the requirements for the rate of change of air pressure during the test (see 5.4, Chapter 7 of the.2008 edition);
--- Increased the information given in the test report (see Chapter 7).
This document is equivalent to IEC 60068-2-13.2021 "Environmental testing - Part 2-13.Test M. Low pressure".
The following minimal editorial changes have been made to this document.

GB/T 2423 series of standards include basic information on environmental tests and their severity levels, which are used to evaluate the performance of test samples under the expected storage conditions.
In this series of standards, each document introduces a set of tests and applications.
The GB/T 2423 series of standards aims to provide product specification developers and product testers with a series of unified and repeatable climatic, mechanical and comprehensive

1 Scope
This document describes the test method for testing specimens subjected to low atmospheric pressure conditions during storage, transportation or use.
The purpose of low pressure test is to determine the adaptability of components, parts or equipment for storage, transportation or use under low pressure conditions.
For components, parts or equipment that are subjected to high/low temperature and low pressure combined environment during storage, transportation or use, when the combined environment
When the effect has a significant impact on the stress or failure mechanism applied to the product, tests are performed in accordance with IEC 60068-2-39.

4 Experimental description
4.1 General
Place the test sample in the test chamber and reduce the air pressure in the chamber to the value specified in the relevant specifications.
Air pressure conditions remain constant for a specified duration.
4.2 Description of test equipment
The test chamber should be capable of maintaining the air pressure conditions specified in Chapter 5.
When restoring the air pressure to normal, care should be taken to avoid contamination of the chamber caused by auxiliary equipment, devices and inflation.
When testing heat dissipation test samples, the relevant specifications may provide appropriate test chambers according to test Bd or Be of IEC 60068-2-2.
