Environmental testing of electrical and electronic products
Part 2. Test methods
Test B. High temperature
1 range
The high temperature test specified in this part of GB/T 2423 is applicable to non-heat and heat test samples. Test Bb and test Bd and early
There is no substantial difference in the version 1).
1) The original IEC 60068-2-2.2007 has “for non-heat-dissipation test samples” before the sentence.
The purpose of this high temperature test is limited to the ability to determine the use, transport or storage of components, equipment or other products in high temperature environments.
This high temperature test cannot be used to evaluate the ability of the test sample to withstand temperature changes and the ability to operate in a temperature changing environment.
In case of this, GB/T 2423.22 should be used.
The high temperature test method is subdivided into the following types.
--- Non-heat dissipation test sample high temperature test.
● Test Bb, temperature gradient.
--- Heat test sample high temperature test.
● Test Bd, temperature gradient;
● Test Be, temperature gradient, test sample is energized throughout the test.
The test methods given in this section are typically used for test samples that are temperature stable during the test.

3.1
Refers to the adjusted airflow rate of the workspace, which maintains the set conditions, but is also low enough that the temperature at any point on the test sample will not
Reduced by more than 5K due to air circulation (if possible, no more than 0.5m/s).
3.2
Refers to the adjusted airflow velocity of the workspace, in order to maintain the set conditions, while making the temperature at any point on the test sample due to air circulation
The effect of the ring is reduced by more than 5K.
4 Comparison of test methods for non-heat-dissipation test samples and heat-dissipation test samples
4.1 General
The manufacture and confirmation of the temperature test chamber shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 2424.5 and GB/T 2424.7.
For high temperature and low temperature test guidelines, see GB/T 2424.1, and for general, see GB/T 2421.
The test sample is considered to be dissipated only under the following conditions. when the temperature is stable (see GB/T 2421 for the corresponding content),
The temperature at the hottest surface of the test sample measured under free air conditions (for example, low airflow speed cycle) exceeds the air around the test sample.
The temperature is above 5K. When the relevant specifications require storage or transportation tests, or if no load is specified during the test, the high temperature test Bb is
suitable.
4.2 Workspace is the determination of high airflow speed or low airflow speed
Under the standard environmental conditions of measurement and test (see GB/T 2421), and the air flow rate < 0.2m/s, according to the high temperature strip to be tested
The provisions under the device energize the test sample or add an electrical load.
When the temperature of the test sample is stable, a suitable monitoring device should be used to measure several representative samples on or around the test sample.
The temperature of the location. After that, the temperature rise of each location should be recorded.
Turn on the ventilation device of the test chamber to circulate the air. When the temperature reaches a stable state, re-measure the temperature at the above position.
The temperature obtained differs from the temperature measured when no air flow last time exceeds 5K (or other values specified in the relevant specifications) and should be in the test report.
These temperature values were recorded and the test chamber was considered to have a high gas flow rate cycle. Then power off the test sample and remove any load
condition.
4.3 Temperature Gradient Test 2)
2) IEC 60068-2-2.2007 is the original "comparison of temperature and temperature gradient test application".
In the temperature gradient test Bb, test Bd and test Be, the test sample is placed in a test chamber at the temperature of the test chamber, and then slowly rises.
The temperature in the high test chamber prevents harmful effects on the test sample due to temperature changes.
4.4 Test of heat test samples
Test Bd and Test Be describe the test procedure for the heat test sample at low gas flow rate cycling. This allows the test sample to be in the bureau
The case where the heating point expands inside, similar to what happens in the application after the installed product.
4.5 Temperature monitoring
A temperature sensor should be used to measure the temperature of the air in the test chamber. The distance of the temperature sensor from the test sample should be ensured
The effects of thermal diffusion are negligible. Care should be taken to avoid the effects of thermal radiation on these measurements. See GB/T 2424.5 for more information.
4.6 Packaging
For storage and transportation tests, the equipment can be tested with packaging. However, since the high temperature test specified in this section is a steady state test,
The equipment will eventually stabilize at the test chamber temperature, so the package should be removed for testing unless the relevant specifications require packaging or the heating element is
Integrated with the packaging.
