1 Scope
The criteria to determine the powder spreader (hereinafter referred to as spreaders) terminology, functions, types and commercial specifications.
This standard applies to road construction and maintenance of powder spreader.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
Mobile machinery for earthwork, pavement and roadbed paving material and soil stabilization, processing or reprocessing.
NOTE. The spreader is controlled by the output speed and a metering device.
3.2
Powder output volume is carried by the spreader measurement, for example, feeder or conveyor belt by rotating blades.
Note 1. spreader with metered volume can also install a control device, the powder can be displayed at any given time and the quality of the coverage area.
