Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 23314-2009 "Tie". Compared with GB/T 23314-2009, the main technical changes are as follows.
---Modified the scope of application of the standard, and added regulations that do not apply to ties worn by infants and young children aged 36 months and under
(See Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2009 edition);
---Modified the normative reference documents (see Chapter 2, Chapter 2 of the.2009 edition);
---Modified the terminology and added the terms of tie, tie, and knot (see Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of the.2009 edition);
---Modified the provisions of the instructions for use of the finished product, and added the specification labeling examples and functional tie labeling instructions (see 4.1, the.2009 edition of 4.1);
---Modified the specifications of the specifications, supplemented and modified the tie structure diagram (see 4.2, 4.2 in the.2009 edition);

1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of neckties.
This standard applies to neckties produced with textile woven fabric as the main fabric.
This standard does not apply to ties worn by infants and young children aged 36 months and below.
