This standard is based on ISO 3286. 1976 re-drafted.
This standard and ISO 3286. 1976 and technical differences compared to the following editorial changes.
--- Remove the foreword to international standards;
--- Nose radius dimension series adds 1.0mm, 3.0mm two values;
--- Remove the International Standard Inch Size Series nose radius;
--- Remove the International Standard 3.2mm nose radius value.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the value of single-point tool nose radius.
This standard applies to all single-point tool (with or without blade) rounded tip.
2 Dimensions
Corner radius defined as 0.2mm, 0.4mm, 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.2mm, 1.6mm, 2.0mm,
2.5mm, 3.0mm.
For indexable (throwaway type) blade tip radius 2.5mm instead of 2.4mm available.
3 Tolerance
