Honey starch syrup by Ion Chromatography
1 Scope
This standard specifies the honey fructose syrup, maltose syrup, maltose syrup different measurement method, caramel syrup and other starch syrup.
This standard applies to the determination of starch in honey syrup.
The standard detection limit. 5% starch syrup.
Principle 2
Honey does not contain pentasaccharide (DP5) above oligosaccharide, and a variety starch syrup inclusive pentasaccharide (DP5) or more oligosaccharides, using a gel volume
Removal of sample exclusion of fructose, glucose, directly through the anion-exchange oligosaccharides enriched chromatography - electrochemical detector, the pentasaccharide
Presence (DP5) above is determined as an indicator of honey oligosaccharides in starch syrup.
3 Reagents and materials
Unless otherwise indicated, the reagents used were of analytical grade, the water is 18.2ΜΩ/cm high water.
3.1 polyacrylamide gel microspheres, particle size 45μm ~ 90μm, fractionated molecular weight range of 100 to 1800, according to the use of said
