1 Scope
This document describes the liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) analysis of trimethoprim, trimethoprim and trimethoprim in feed.

4 Liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (arbitration method)
4.1 Principle
The analytes in the sample were extracted with ethyl acetate under weak alkaline conditions, defatted with n-hexane, and purified with a mixed strong cation exchange column.
The product was determined by liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry and quantified by internal standard method.
4.2 Reagents or materials
Unless otherwise specified, only analytical grade reagents were used.
