Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 2031-1994 "Marine Fire Joints". The main changes in this standard compared with GB/T 2031-1994 are as follows.
---Modified the standard grade of the body material (see 4.1);
--- Modified the seal material grade (see 4.1);
--- Increased anti-drop performance requirements (see 4.5);
---Modified the structural dimensions of the DN50 fire joint (see 3.3);
--- Modified the marking method (see 3.4);
--- Modified the processing requirements in accordance with GB/T 600.

3 classification and marking
3.1 type
The type of fire joint is specified as follows.
Type A---internal thread fire joint;
Type B---water belt fire joint;
Type C---cap fire joints;
Type D---International shore fire joints;
Type E --- different diameter fire joints.
3.2 Basic parameters
The basic parameters of the fire joint are shown in Table 1.
