This document specifies the safety requirements for discharge lamps (other than fluorescent lamps) for general lighting: This document applies to low-pressure sodium lamps and high-intensity discharge lamps (HID), i:e: high-pressure mercury lamps (including hybrid lamps), high-pressure sodium lamps and metal halides lamp: This document applies to both single-ended lamps and double-ended lamps: Appendix A lists the lamp holder models used: This document only covers safety requirements and does not include performance requirements: For performance requirements, see IEC 60188, IEC 60192, IEC 60662, IEC 61167 and IEC 61549: Lamps complying with this document are rated at 90% to 110% of the rated supply voltage when equipped with corresponding ballasts, starting devices and lamps: Work safely, with ballasts in accordance with the requirements of IEC 61347-2-9 and IEC 60923, and starting devices in accordance with IEC 61347-2-1 and In accordance with the requirements of IEC 60927, the lamps shall comply with the requirements of GB/T 7000:1:
