This standard is based on the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine issued by Decree 78 of 2005, "geographical indication protection regulations" and
GB 17924-1999 "General requirements for geographical origin of products" to develop.
This standard replaces GB 19585-2004 "geographical origin of products Turpan grapes."
This standard compared with GB 19585-2004 main changes are as follows.
--- The standard is mandatory to recommended;
--- According to the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine promulgated the "Provisions on the Protection of Geographical Indication Products", modify the name of the contents;
--- Increase the term and definition "stunted fruit";
--- Modify the spacing and picking time "cultivation techniques" in the provisions of the grape yield per mu units, provides for the use of hormones
