1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions of chicken slaughter, pre-slaughter requirements, slaughter procedures and requirements, packaging, labeling, marking and storage, and
other requirements.

4 Pre-slaughter requirements
4.1 The chicken to be slaughtered should be in good health and accompanied by the Animal Quarantine Certificate issued by the animal health supervision agency.
4.2 Before the chicken is slaughtered, the feeding should be stopped and the fasting time should be controlled at 6h~12h to ensure drinking water.
