This standard replaces GB/T 19477-2004 "Cattle Slaughter Operation Regulations", compared with GB/T 19477-2004, major technical changes
as follows.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions of cattle slaughter, pre-slaughter requirements, slaughter procedures and requirements, packaging, labeling, marking and storage, and
other requirements.
This standard applies to the slaughtering operation of cattle slaughter plants (fields).

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions as defined in GB/T 19480 apply to this document.
3.1
Cow carcass cartoonbody
The cow slaughtered the body after the blood was blown.
3.2
Burdock corpuscle halfcarcass
The two halves of the carcass are sawed longitudinally along the midline of the spine.
3.3
Synchronous inspection of synchronousinspection
Corresponding to the slaughtering operation, the head, hoof (claw), viscera and carcass production line of the livestock and poultry are operated synchronously, and the inspection personnel conduct inspection and synthesis.

4 Pre-slaughter requirements
4.1 The cattle to be slaughtered should be in good health and accompanied by the Animal Quarantine Certificate issued by the animal health supervision agency.
4.2 After the cattle enter the factory (field), they should rest for 12h~24h, and stop feeding for 3h before slaughter. If the time to be slaughtered exceeds 24 hours, it should be fed in moderation.
