This standard applies to boats with a full-load displacement speed of not more than 50kn under complete conditions. When assessing stability, freeboard and buoyancy, all structural integral components, other high load areas (e.g. ballast keels, mid-flooding, rudders, sprockets, etc.), usually include those assumed to be watertight or weathertight on boats All parts are encrypted. This standard applies only to newly built boats. This standard does not apply to hydrofoils, small waterplane area catamarans and surface effect craft. |

Boat structure and component size
Part 7. Determination of the size of a multi-hull ship
1 Scope
This part of GB/T 19314 specifies the design load and pressure of a multi-hull ship with a hull length of not more than 24 m measured according to GB/T 19916.
Determination of force, stress and component size.
This section applies to boats with full displacement and a speed of no more than 50 kn under full conditions. When assessing stability, freeboard and buoyancy, all structures
Integral components, other high-load areas (eg, ballast keels, mid-water slabs, rudders, chain plates, etc.), usually including watercraft or water
All parts of the rain. This section only applies to new boats.
This section does not apply to hydrofoil, small waterplane catamaran and surface effect vessels.

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Design category designcategories
The design of the boat to be assessed in accordance with this section is divided according to applicable sea conditions and wind power. Assume that the boat is driving correctly, speed and main sea conditions
Adapted.
3.1.1
Design category A ("Ocean") designcategoryA ("ocean")
Suitable for sailing on a sea with a high wave height of more than 4m and a wind speed exceeding the level of Beaufort but excluding anomalies such as hurricanes.
Note. Calculate the wave height to take 7m.
3.1.2
Design category B ("offshore") designcategoryB ("offshore")
It is suitable for sailing in a sea with a wave height of no more than 4m and a wind speed not exceeding the level of Beaufort.
3.1.3
Design Category C ("Coastal") designcategoryC ("inshore")
It is suitable for sailing in a sea with a wave height of no more than 2m and a wind speed not exceeding the level of Beaufort.
