Introduction
Aquatic germplasm resources are an important material basis for fisheries production activities. The "Genomic Testing of Cultured Fish" standard includes sections on fish germplasm testing.
This is a fundamental and universal standard. Since its implementation, the standard has played an important role in fish resource surveys, conservation, propagation, and utilization. To further...
To better serve the needs of fisheries development and testing, the name of "Cultivated Fish Germplasm Inspection" has been changed to "Fish Germplasm Inspection," and some parts of the standard have been revised accordingly.
The content has been revised.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Under aseptic conditions, kidney, spleen, blood, or epithelial tissue cells from fish are obtained, and cell division stimulants are added during in vitro culture.
The drug induces a large number of lymphocytes to enter a state of division; then colchicine is added to inhibit cell division at metaphase, thus obtaining fish cells.
Metaphase of chromosome division.
3.2
Injecting cell division stimulants into the fish to induce a large number of lymphocytes to enter a state of division, or injecting colchicine (or removing kidney tissue)
Fish cell staining was obtained by thoroughly tearing up tissue or spleen tissue in physiological saline and adding colchicine to inhibit cell division at metaphase.
Metaphase of chromosomal splitting.
3.3
The sample fish were temporarily housed in a colchicine solution, which inhibited the division of their rapidly dividing gill or fin epithelial cells.
During this period, the metaphase phase of fish cell chromosomes was obtained.
3.4
Select normally developing blastocysts, early gastrulation embryos, or eyed embryos, disperse their cells by pipetting, and add colchicine to make the cells...
Cell division is inhibited in metaphase, resulting in the metaphase phase of fish cell chromosomes.
