Introduction
Field efficacy trials are an important means of evaluating the comprehensive efficacy of pesticides against pests under various environmental factors, and are crucial for guiding pesticide safety.
It provides crucial technical basis for the comprehensive and rational use of pesticides. It helps to scientifically evaluate the efficacy and safety of pesticides and reduce discrepancies in results caused by different testing methods.
There is a need to standardize the procedures and evaluation content for field efficacy trials. GB/T 17980 describes insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, and plant pesticides.
A total of 149 field efficacy test methods for plant growth regulators and other pesticides against their respective target pests were established, aiming to standardize methods, unify evaluation criteria, and promote pesticide production.
The research, development, registration and use of the product are planned to consist of 149 parts, as detailed in Appendix A.
Guidelines for Pesticide Field Efficacy Trials
Part 22.Fungicide Control of Powdery Mildew in Cereals
1 Scope
This document describes the methods for field plot trials of fungicides for controlling powdery mildew (Blumeriagraminis) in cereals.
This document applies to field efficacy plot trials and efficacy evaluations of fungicides for the control of powdery mildew in cereal crops, for registration purposes. Other field efficacy trials...

3 Terms and Definitions
This document does not contain any terms or definitions that need to be defined.
4.Test conditions
4.1 Selection of test subjects, crops and varieties
The test subject was powdery mildew in cereal crops.
The experimental crops were winter (spring) wheat, barley, rye, and other cereal crops, using susceptible varieties or locally grown varieties. Variety names were recorded.
4.2 Environmental Conditions
Field trials should be conducted in disease-prone areas. Cultivation conditions (soil type, fertilization, variety, row spacing, sowing density) should be considered for all trial plots.
The degree of uniformity should be consistent and conform to local scientific agricultural practices.
5.Experimental Design and Arrangement
5.1 Test Treatment
Test reagents, control reagents, and blank controls should be included.
5.2 Reagents
5.2.1 Test reagents
The test reagent should be applied at least three times; in special cases, the dosage should be set according to experimental requirements. Specify the Chinese/English common name or code of the reagent.
Dosage form, active ingredient content, manufacturer, production date or batch number, etc.
5.2.2 Control reagent
The control agent should be a registered, locally commonly used product with good efficacy and safety in actual use. The type and function of the control agent should be clearly defined.
