Foreword

GB/T 16783 "Field testing of drilling oil and gas industry" consists of two parts. --- Part 1. Water-based drilling fluids; --- Part 2. Oil-based drilling fluids. This section GB/T 16783 Part 1. This section drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules. This Part replaces GB/T 16783.1-2006 "oil and natural gas industries - Field testing of drilling fluids - Part 1. Water-based drilling fluids." Compared with GB/T 16783.1-2006, the main technical changes are as follows. --- Increased four terms (see Chapter 2); --- Increased 10 symbols and abbreviations (see Chapter 3); --- Table 2 adds "density conversion unit" (see Chapter 4); --- An increase of 9 formulas (see Chapter 4, Chapter 6, Chapter 8, Chapter 10, Chapter 12, Article 13 and Appendix C); --- "Air or gas" with "air or other gases" (see 4.3.3,5.1,8.3.3,8.3.6,10.3.1, C.3.1 and Annex D); --- Added "Warning" (see before and after the standard name in Chapter 1, Chapter 6, Chapter 7, Chapter 10, Chapter 11, Chapter 12, Section 13 Chapter, Chapter 14, Appendix A and Appendix E); --- Funnel viscometer inner diameter of the outlet stream from the 0.185in to 0.188in (3/16in) (see 6.2.1.1.2); --- Funnel viscometer mesh aperture by a 0.185in to 0.063in (1/16in), fixed by the position to 0.75in 0.784in (3/4in) (see 6.2.1.1.3); --- Modified high temperature and high pressure loss temperature rise test time requirements (see 7.3.2.6,7.3.3.6); --- Methylene blue volume measurements of "cuttings" to "Drilling Solid Phase" (see 10.1.1,10.1.2,10.4); --- "Moles" with "amount of substance" (see 10.2.1,14.2.1, A.1.2.1, A.3.2.1); --- Figure 1, an increase of "excess endpoint" describes (see Chapter 10); --- Drilling mud phenolphthalein alkalinity measurement and sampling of the "10mL" to "1.0mL" (see 12.4.1); --- Revised Table A.1 tube coefficient (see Appendix A); --- Sulphide content in the distance measuring from the bottom of the diffuser by 5mm (0.2in) to 6mm (0.25in) (see A.4.3.9); --- Table A.4 in KCl concentration from 0.175 to 0.18, potassium ion concentration from 262.5 to 263 (see Appendix A); --- Modify the formula (B.2) (see Appendix B); --- Drill pipe corrosion test loop adds two drugs and instruments (see E.2.9, E.2.10), detailed the qualitative corrosion test loop approach (see E.3.4); --- Sampling, testing and rejection than added aspects (see F.5); --- Remove the "rotary viscometer measuring drilling fluid gel strength" (see the 2006 edition of Appendix I); --- Added "measuring screw lid closure device type permeability of water-based drilling fluid of high temperature and high pressure loss" (see Appendix I); --- Added "measuring instrument threaded lid sealing formula permeability of water-based drilling fluid of high temperature and high pressure loss" (see Appendix J); --- Increase the "water-based drilling fluids report format" (see Annex K). This section uses the translation method identical with ISO 10414-1.2008 "Petroleum and natural gas industries - Field testing of drilling fluids - Part 1. Water Based drilling fluid "(in English). This section also made the following editorial changes. a) adjust the order in which parts of the sign; b) with a density symbol "g/cm3" instead of the symbol "g/mL"; c) correct typographical errors. 1) Original 14.3.8 of "calcium indicator" to "hardness indicator"; 2) in the original A.7.3.1 "100mL graduated cylinder" to "100mL flask"; 3) the original A.7.3.2 "with 25mL measuring cylinder" with "with 25mL pipette amount"; 4) H.2.1 in "H.3" to "H.3.1"; 5) J.3.2.7 in "200kPa (30psi)" to 207kPa (30psi); 6) J.4.3.1 in "Table 2" to "Table I.1". d) the original text as part of an N reg concentration units, since the concentration of N units has been eliminated, to read mol/L.
