Foreword
This standard replaces GB/T 16583-1996 "unsaturated rubber saturated rubber identified the first part of the acid digestion"
GB/T 19241-2003 "unsaturated rubber saturated rubber identification ozonation process."
This standard GB/T 16583-1996 and GB/T 19241-2003 integration Amendment no differences in the technical content.
The standard proposed by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association.
This standard by the National Rubber and rubber products Standardization Technical Committee rubber physical and chemical test methods Technical Committee
(SAC/TC35/SC2) centralized.
This standard was drafted. Beijing Rubber Industry Research and Design Institute, Guangzhou Institute of Materials.
The main drafters of this standard. Wujiang Tao, Xie Yufang.
This standard replaces the standards previously issued as follows.
--- GB/T 16583-1996;
--- GB/T 19241-2003.
Identification of unsaturated rubber saturated rubber
Warning. Use of this standard should be familiar with normal laboratory practice. This standard does not purport relates to the use of this standard may occur
All security issues. Develop appropriate safety and health system and to ensure compliance with national regulations regarding the responsibility of the user.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the test two methods to identify the unsaturated rubber saturated rubber. A method for the ozone oxidation method, Method B is an acid consumption
Method.
This standard applies to raw rubber, unvulcanized and vulcanized rubber.
The results obtained by the two methods are not comparable.
Limitations of this standard.
A saturation method for the large component of unsaturated rubber (natural rubber, butadiene rubber, isoprene rubber, etc.) contains small components
Rubber (butyl rubber, chlorinated butyl rubber, brominated butyl rubber and ethylene - propylene copolymer. ethylene-propylene rubber, EPDM) method.
A method suitable for containing one or more of the following rubbers (isoprene rubber, natural rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, butadiene rubber, nitrile rubber,
Neoprene) Determination blends isobutylene - isoprene copolymer (butyl rubber, chlorinated butyl rubber, brominated butyl rubber) and
Ethylene - the presence of propylene copolymer (EPR, EPDM) one or blend.
A method does not apply to the polyolefin containing one or more ingredients mixed rubber, it can not be completely mixed solvent of methyl ethyl ketone and ethanol extracted
The mixture of hydrocarbons, or chlorinated paraffin, or the ozone can be completely decomposed thermoplastic elastomer.
Method B - with single or unsaturated rubber, such as polyisoprene, butadiene - styrene copolymer, a variety of butadiene - acrylonitrile
Polychloroprene copolymers and blends identified isobutylene - isoprene copolymer (butyl rubber, chlorinated butyl rubber, brominated butyl rubber)
And ethylene - propylene copolymer (ethylene-propylene rubber, EPDM rubber).
Method B does not apply to contain low molecular weight polyethylene or polystyrene plastic material.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
Rubber main chain containing a small amount of rubber double bonds, such as. containing a small amount of isoprene butyl rubber and containing a small amount of acetic hexadiene ternary
Propylene rubber.
Note. This does not mean hexadiene and isoprene unsaturated butyl rubber and EPDM rubber component only exist.
