This standard and GB/T 14764-1993 compared to the main changes are as follows.
--- Increasing the content of terms and definitions (1993 Edition Chapter 3, Chapter 3 of this edition);
--- Adds alloy tool steel products and product code M, bimetal steel products, code-named Bi (edition 5.2);
--- Increasing the bending performance requirements and test methods for flexible steel saw blade (edition of 6.5.2 and 7.5.2);
--- Deletion of the "product classification" (Chapter 81 993 version);
