This document replaces GB/T 14650-2005 "General Technical Specifications for Marine Auxiliary Boilers". Compared with GB/T 14650-2005, this document
In addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The scope of application of the standard has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2005 edition);
b) Added “Terms and Definitions” (see Chapter 3);
c) The classification by medium has been changed and the classification by circulation mode has been deleted (see Chapter 4, Chapter 4 of the.2005 edition);
d) The basic parameters table of auxiliary boilers has been modified (see Table 1, Table 1 of the.2005 edition);
e) Added auxiliary boiler composition requirements (see 5.1.1);
f) Added environmental conditions such as ambient temperature and relative humidity (see 5.1.2.1);
g) Added the strength calculation requirements for auxiliary boilers (see 5.1.2.2);
h) The requirements for selecting the nominal diameters of auxiliary boiler heads and tube sheets have been deleted (see 4.2.1.5 of the.2005 edition);
i) Added feed water and boiler water quality requirements for auxiliary boilers (see 5.1.2.5);

m) Added the selection requirements for auxiliary boiler flue gas inlet and outlet flanges (see 5.1.8.3);
n) Added material requirements for main pressure components of auxiliary boilers (see 5.2);
o) The requirements for butt welds of auxiliary boiler T-joints have been modified (see 5.3.1, 4.2.1.6 of the.2005 edition);
p) The thermal efficiency requirements for boilers have been changed (see 5.4.4, 4.1.2 and 4.1.3 of the.2005 edition);
q) Added "Inspection Rules" (see Chapter 7);
r) Added transportation requirements for auxiliary boilers (see 8.4).
