This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 13010-2006 "Sliced Veneer".
Compared with GB/T 13010-2006 "Sliced Veneer", the main technical changes of this standard include.
---Modified the scope of standard application;
---The standard structure has undergone major changes;
---Added the definition of veneer, sawn veneer and rotary cut veneer (see 3.1, 3.3, 3.4);
---Modified the definition of sliced veneer and quoted the definition specified in GB/T 18259-2018 (see 3.2);
---Added the classification of veneers "according to processing method" and "according to purpose", only retaining the classification of "according to the edge processing status" (see Chapter 4,.2006 edition)
