Foreword
GB/T 1251 is divided into three parts.
--- Part 1. Ergonomics danger signals - Auditory danger signals in public places and work areas;
--- Part 2. Ergonomics - Visual danger signals - General requirements, design and testing;
--- Part 3. Visual Ergonomics danger signal system and information.
This part of GB/T 1251 Part 1.
This part identical with ISO 7731.2003 "Ergonomics public places and work areas - Auditory danger signal danger signal"
(In English), and in accordance with ISO 7731.2003 Translation drafted.
This Part replaces GB 1251.1-1989 "auditory danger signal danger signal in the workplace." And GB 1251.1-1989 phase
Than some of the major changes in the following.
--- Original standard GB 1251.1-1989 equivalent to ISO 7731. 1986, this part identical with ISO 7731.2003;
--- This part of the name is changed to "Ergonomics public places and work areas - Auditory danger signal danger signal";
--- Increased directory, foreword and introduction;
Chapter 3 --- increased auditory emergency signal, octave, 1/3-octave (fractional-octave-band filter), reverberation time, spectral components
5 terms and definitions;
--- Chapter 4, the structure and content of Chapter 5, Chapter 6 has been adjusted;

Introduction
This section provides guidelines for the recognition of auditory signals danger, especially in the case of high background noise. This section contains a variety of
Auditory danger signals, text by "danger signal" to refer to the emergency signals and warning signals (see Table 1).
Also it relates to the following national standards Auditory danger signals.
--- GB/T 12800 in the emergency evacuation signal;
--- GB/T 1251.3 in danger auditory and visual signals.
Table 1 shows the various types of danger signals and reaction when they hear these signals need to make.
Should be noted, GB/T 1251.3 danger signal type in more detail.
Table 1 Danger Signal Type
The reaction danger signal type need to make
Auditory emergency evacuation signal immediately leave the danger zone
Auditory emergency signal for urgent action to seek aid
Auditory warning signals or prepared to take preventive measures
Design appropriate danger signals can effectively prompt attention to hazards or hazardous environments (even in the case of wearing ear protectors), and will not
Cause panic.

Note. The symbols defined in Appendix A.
3.1
Sound signal reception in all areas, non-dangerous signal generator.
3.2
According to the urgency of the danger and possible injury to people caused by auditory danger signal into auditory emergency signal, auditory emergency evacuation
Three warning signals and an audible signal.
3.2.1
Flag signal danger began. If necessary, further comprising a sustained and marked the termination signal danger.
3.2.2
Flag has begun or is taking place and is likely to cause injury to signal an emergency, this signal indicates that people in the manner determined
Immediately leave the danger zone.
Note. GB/T 12800 mainly describes the emergency evacuation audible signal.
3.2.3
Flag imminent or is occurring, we need to take appropriate measures to eliminate or control the risk of danger signals.
NOTE. Warning auditory signals can also provide people to take action or measure information.
