Foreword
This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 1202-1987 "crude paraffin". The main differences between this standard and GB/T 1202-1987 are as follows.
--- increase the "scope" chapter (see Chapter 1);
- Add the "normative reference document" chapter, delete the "reference standard" chapter (see Chapter 2, 1987 edition of Chapter 1);
- increase technical requirements for products 62, 64, 66, 68 and 70 (see Chapter 4);
- modified the color limits (see Chapter 4, Chapter 2 of the 1987 edition).
This standard is proposed by the National Petroleum Products and Lubricants Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC280).

1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, sampling, packaging, marking and storage of crude paraffin.
This standard applies to crude waxes containing oil wax as raw material, solvent deodorization or other refining processes.
Note. The products belonging to this standard are applicable to rubber products, canvas, matches and other industrial raw materials.
