Introduction
GB/T 11918 aims to standardize the types and sizes of plugs, fixed or mobile sockets, and appliance input sockets used in industrial applications.
To ensure product safety, the dimensions are to be determined and the product is proposed to consist of the following parts.
---Industrial plugs, fixed or portable sockets and appliance input sockets - Part 1.General requirements. The purpose is to specify industrial...
The general technical requirements for the structure, mechanical properties, and electrical properties of plugs, fixed or movable sockets and appliance input sockets.
---Industrial plugs, fixed or mobile sockets and appliance input sockets Part 2.Dimensions of electrical accessories with pins and sockets
Size compatibility requirements. The aim is to provide specifications for industrial plugs, fixed or mobile sockets and appliances with a rated current not exceeding 125A.
Size compatibility requirements for input sockets.
---Industrial plugs, fixed or mobile sockets and appliance input sockets, Part 3.(Leave blank for later documents).
---Industrial plugs, fixed or portable sockets and appliance input sockets - Part 4.Sockets with or without interlocking switches.
The purpose is to provide information on electric shock protection, interlocking, switches and their components, structure, and mechanics for industrial sockets with or without interlocks and switches.
Technical requirements such as strength and electrical performance.
---Industrial plugs, sockets and couplers, Part 5.Plugs, sockets and marine couplings for low-voltage shore power connection systems (LVSC systems)
Size compatibility and interchangeability requirements for connectors and marine input sockets. The aim is to reduce air pollutant emissions from ships berthing in port.
Promote the use of shore power by ships berthing in port, cooperate with the construction of port shore power facilities, and ensure compliance with IEC /PAS80005-3.2014 regarding...
Requirements for plugs, sockets, and marine couplers (marine connectors and marine input sockets), and the application of shore power facilities in my country.
Furthermore, to promote interchangeability and compatibility between ships and low-voltage shore power facilities, plugs and sockets are used in low-voltage shore power connection systems (LVSC systems).
The requirements for size compatibility and interchangeability are clearly defined for marine connectors and marine input sockets.
---Industrial plugs, sockets, and couplers - Part 6.DC plugs, sockets, and connectors for marine shore power systems. The aim is to reduce...
Shorten the charging time of ships at port, improve charging efficiency, promote the standardized and widespread application of DC charging in ship shore power systems, and cooperate with port authorities.
The construction of port power facilities and the electrification retrofitting of ships promote the interchangeability and compatibility of ships and low-voltage shore power facilities, thus benefiting ship shore power.
Safety technical requirements and size compatibility and interchangeability requirements are put forward for DC plugs, sockets, connectors and other components used in the connection system.
This document will facilitate the standardization of plugs with pins and sockets used in industrial applications with a rated current not exceeding 125A, whether fixed or mobile.
The types and dimensions of movable sockets and appliance input sockets improve product size compatibility and ensure that the products are compatible with all types of devices.
