Foreword
GB/T 11412 "sailing ship safety technical requirements" is divided into nine sections.

This Part replaces GB/T 11412.1 ~ 11412.3-1989 "maritime transport sailing ship safety technical requirements" and GB/T 6551-
1993 "sailing ship safety technical requirements for communication and navigation."
This part of GB/T 11412.1 ~ 11412.3-1989 and GB/T 6551-1993 compared to the main changes are as follows.
--- Standard structure consists of general principles, deck department, engine department revised as by major ship types - General requirements and special requirements of the standard structure;
--- The scope of the 1600 gross tonnage and above or diesel engine propulsion power of 3000kW and above all kinds of sailing in sea navigation area

Part 1. General requirements
1 Scope
This section GB/T 11412 specifies the seagoing ship certificates, documents and materials, crew, hull structure, safety of navigation before departure, loading
Carrier status and stability, fire safety, lifesaving, electrical and mechanical equipment, pollution prevention and marine communication and other aspects of the general requirements for safety technology.
This section applies to ships of 500 gross tonnage and above, sailing in all types of trade area, does not apply to damages caused by natural disaster, emergency or military special original

3 Terms and Definitions
