Summary This standard specifies the terms and definitions in the thermal performance test of industrial boilers, symbols and units, general rules, test preparation, test requirements, measurement items and test instruments, test methods, boiler thermal efficiency calculations, and test reports. This standard is applicable to the thermal performance test of solid fuel boilers, liquid fuel boilers, gas fuel boilers and electric heating boilers whose rated pressure is less than 3.8 MPa, medium for water or liquid organic heat carrier. Oil field steam boiler, waste heat utilization device or equipment (except flue-type waste heat boiler), the steam pressure of not less than 3.8 MPa and the steam temperature of less than 450 �� can refer to the use of the boiler.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, symbols and units, general rules, test preparations, and test requirements in the thermal performance test of industrial boilers. Measurement items and test instrumentation, test methods, calculation of boiler thermal efficiency, and test report. This standard applies to solid fuel boilers and liquid fuel boilers whose rated pressure is less than 3.8 MPa and whose medium is water or liquid organic heat carrier. Thermal performance tests for furnaces, gas-fired boilers, and electric heating boilers.
