1 Scope
This document provides the chemical name, molecular formula, relative molecular mass, and chemical structural formula of calcium formate, and specifies the use of calcium formate as a feed additive.
The technical requirements, inspection rules, labeling, packaging, transportation, storage and shelf life are described, as well as sampling and testing methods.
This document applies to calcium formate, or trimethylolpropane, a feed additive synthesized chemically from formic acid and calcium carbonate or calcium hydroxide.
Calcium formate, a feed additive produced concurrently during the production process.
