This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB 6969-2005 "Fire-fighting Suction Hose". Compared with GB 6969-2005, the main differences are structural adjustments and editorial changes. 1 Scope

This document defines the terminology for fire-fighting water suction pipes, and specifies their classification and model designation, performance requirements, inspection rules, marking, and instructions for use. The book and packaging describe the corresponding testing methods. This document applies to fire hoses used for pumping water or foam liquid during firefighting and rescue operations.
