Introduction

This document aims to standardize the safety and quality of childcare products, protecting children's lives and health to the greatest extent possible. Use products that comply with this document. Childcare products that meet the requirements can reduce the risk of complications during normal use (using the product instructions, operating guidelines, etc.) and Potential dangers arising from foreseeable reasonable misuse (unintended use). The safety of child care products is related to the developmental characteristics of children at different age stages and the degree of their exposure to hazardous sources. Developmental characteristics include a child's body size, appearance, physiology, physical abilities, cognitive abilities, emotional development, and behavior, which change as the child develops. 1 Scope

This document specifies the general safety requirements for childcare products and describes the corresponding testing methods. This document is intended for children 48 months and under, to assist them in sitting, bathing, general care, sleep, and support. Products that provide protection for children and other functions, including but not limited to the products listed in Table A.1 of Appendix A.
