1 Scope

This document specifies the technical requirements, sampling and environment, marking, and the manufacturer's instructions for use of protective gloves against mechanical hazards. Necessary information, describes the test methods for gloves for protection against mechanical hazards. This document applies to gloves that provide protection against mechanical hazards of abrasion, cutting, tearing, puncture or impact.

3 Terms and Definitions
