1 Scope
This standard specifies the anethole (natural) requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation, storage and shelf life.
This standard applies to star anise oil as raw material, through efficient fractionation method were anethole (natural).

4 Requirements
4.1 color. white to pale yellow solidified body or colorless to pale yellow liquid.
4.2 Odor. star anise-like aroma.

4.4 Refractive index (25 ℃). 1.5570 ~ 1.5620.
4.5 Solubility (25 ℃). 1mL or 1g sample soluble in 3mL90% (volume fraction) ethanol.

5 Test methods

6 Inspection rules
