3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 3.1 Gapping on the plate The phenomenon of partial phase separation between the layers of the insulating tape reel, resulting in gaps at the end face of the reel-shaped insulating tape. 3.2 rough edges The insulation tape has fine, uncut fibers of the substrate at its edges. Note. Also known as double knife marks. 3.3 uneven weaving The edges of the layers on the end face of the insulating tape reel are not in the same plane, resulting in an uneven end face of the insulating tape reel. 3.4 Concave (convex) core offcore The end face of the coiled insulating tape is not on the same plane as the core, causing the core to be concave (convex). 3.5 blemish The phenomenon that the coating quality of fabrics has local defects due to yarn knots, missing yarns, broken yarns, etc.
