Foreword
This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".
Drafting.
This document replaces GB 20415-2006 "Rubber-coated Fabric Insulation Tape". Compared with GB 20415-2006, the main differences are in structural adjustments and weaving.
Aside from the logical changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
---The scope has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2006 edition);
---Added terms and definitions (see Chapter 3);
---Specifications and tolerances have been changed (see 4.2, 3.1 in the.2006 edition);
---The withstand voltage requirement has been removed (see section 4.2 of the.2006 edition);
---The requirements for adhesive properties and adhesive properties after hot air aging have been removed (see 4.3 and 4.4 in the.2006 edition);
---Increased performance in terms of 180° peel strength, low-speed unwinding strength, electrical strength, high-temperature resistance, and low-temperature resistance (see 4.4);
---Sampling and testing methods have been changed (see Chapter 5, Chapter 5 of the.2006 edition);
---The inspection rules have been changed (see Chapter 6, Chapter 6 of the.2006 edition);
---The labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage have been changed, and the product shelf life has been increased (see Chapter 7, Chapter 7 of the.2006 edition).

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Gapping on the plate
The phenomenon of partial phase separation between the layers of the insulating tape reel, resulting in gaps at the end face of the reel-shaped insulating tape.
3.2
rough edges
The insulation tape has fine, uncut fibers of the substrate at its edges.
Note. Also known as double knife marks.
3.3
uneven weaving
The edges of the layers on the end face of the insulating tape reel are not in the same plane, resulting in an uneven end face of the insulating tape reel.
3.4
Concave (convex) core offcore
The end face of the coiled insulating tape is not on the same plane as the core, causing the core to be concave (convex).
3.5
blemish
The phenomenon that the coating quality of fabrics has local defects due to yarn knots, missing yarns, broken yarns, etc.
