This standard replaces GB 25550-2010 "National Food Safety Standard Food Additive L-Carnitine Tartrate". Appendix A and Appendix B of this standard are normative appendices. Compared with GB 25550-2010, the main changes in this standard are as follows. ---The name of the standard is modified to "National Food Safety Standard Food Nutritional Enhancer L-Carnitine Tartrate"; ---Modified the identification test of L-carnitine; ---Added identification test for tartaric acid; ---The detection methods of L-carnitine and tartaric acid have been modified and the potentiometric titration method has been added; ---Deleted the heavy metal indicator and added the lead indicator and its inspection method; ---Modified the detection method of total arsenic.
