1 Scope
This standard applies to 6-methyloctanol as raw material, catalyzed by the catalyst 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine oxide in methylene chloride solvent
After oxidation, the solvent is removed and the food additive 6-methyloctanal is obtained by vacuum distillation.
