others are recommendatory.
This standard replaces GB 16806-1997 "General Technical Conditions of Control for
Fire Protection Equipment".
Compared with GB 16806 - 1997, this standard has the following changes.
--The basic function test in the former standard is divided into basic performance tests of
automatic controller for fire protection, basic performance tests of gas fire extinguishing
controller, basic performance tests of electric fire control unit, basic performance tests of
fire-fighting emergency power supply, basic performance tests of fire emergency broadcasting
equipment, basic performance tests of fire telephone, basic performance tests of transmission
equipment, basic performance tests of graphic display unit in fire protection control room,
basic performance tests of module, basic performance tests of fire hydrant button, and basic
performance tests of electric fire device.;
--Safety performance is investigated by leakage current test and electrical strength
instead of withstand voltage test;
--Constant wet heat (durable) test, surge (impact) immunity test, immunity test of
conducted disturbances induced by radio-frequency fields, as well as immunity test of voltage
dip, short interruption and voltage change are added;
--Some former testing items such as powered action test, high temperature test and low
temperature storage test are deleted.
This standard was proposed by the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic
of China.
This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Sixth Subcommittee of National Technical
Committee on Fire Protection of Standardization Administration of China.
